Mirabell and Gregory’s story began at Darktrace, where they both worked as Business Development Representatives . Mirabell was living in Sterling, Virginia, and Gregory in Charlotte, North Carolina.Their first official introduction was a Teams call in January 2022, when Gregory reached out for help with work. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into a genuine friendship, both inside and outside of the office.A few months later, Gregory worked up the courage to ask Mirabell to be his date to his sister, Emily’s wedding on July 9th, 2022. Mirabell said yes, and what became their first official date, was a night they’ll never forget. From Mirabell accidentally setting off the fire alarm and flooding the hotel bathroom, to an unforgettable moment on the dance floor. It was the perfect beginning to their story.Shortly after, the two began dating long distance, growing their relationship between Virginia and North Carolina. Throughout this season, they not only grew closer to one another, but also deepened their faith, encouraging each other, pursuing the Lord together, and building a relationship rooted in Christ. In July 2024, Mirabell made the move to Charlotte, where they continued building their life together.In September 2025, Gregory planned an early morning trip to Pretty Place Chapel in South Carolina, where he got down on one knee and asked Mirabell to marry him.Now, they are so excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people they love most.

FRIDAY — COCKTAIL ATTIREFor the Welcome Party at Top of the Gate, we recommend cocktail or dressy chic attire. Light layers are encouraged, as the rooftop may get breezy in the evening.SATURDAY — BLACK TIE OPTIONALWe kindly invite guests to dress in BLACK TIE OPTIONAL attire for our wedding celebration. For gentlemen, a tuxedo is welcomed but not required; a dark suit with a tie or bow tie is equally appropriate. For ladies, floor-length gowns are encouraged.SUNDAY — CASUAL CHICFor the Farewell Brunch, comfortable, polished attire is perfect. Think sundresses, skirts or trousers, polos, button-downs, or dressed-up denim paired with a nice top.

We have reserved a room block at The Watergate Hotel for our wedding weekend. We recommend arriving on Friday to enjoy the Welcome Party, but if you are only attending the wedding, you are welcome to check in on Saturday instead. Please Note: The Watergate room block is currently displaying an incorrect rate. The correct wedding rate is $249/night. If you book now, you will still only be charged $249/night.
